Position Overview

The Auto Parts Counter Advisor supports service technicians and customers by managing parts inventory and delivering exceptional service both in person and over the phone.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, and accurately bill automotive parts
  • Maintain organized and proper storage of parts inventory
  • Stock shelves, perform bin counts, and keep accurate inventory records
  • Assist retail customers and service technicians promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate parts pick-up and delivery logistics
  • Ensure the parts department and surrounding work areas remain clean and orderly
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Work Environment and Schedule

This position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility. Work hours may include some evenings and Saturdays.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • One to two years of experience in automotive parts retail or dealership environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a self-motivated and team-oriented approach
  • Proficient with computers and parts inventory systems
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
